Last Thursday, May 11 I bid a fond farewell to my PT Cruiser that has given me almost 6 years of reliable service and transportation. In it's place is a MINI Cooper S in chili red. I couldn't stop thinking about this car after the first test drive. It really is like driving a go cart on the street. The inside is very posh with just enough retro treatments to please the eye. I look forward to driving it every day.
It performed admirably taking Jim, myself, Molly and Hazel (yes, the dogs fit too) in mini-style to Rehoboth, Bethany and Ocean View for Mother's Day weekend where we found lots of twisty, turny back roads to motor on. If you have a chance to drive one, do it.
This video comes to us from a PTA meeting. I first saw it on MSNBC during a segment about viral video so this may be old news– new to me!
Go forth and visit Boywundr's blog.
Come on! The man has his own Wikipedia entry!!
Micah and Stephanie just got their new great dane puppy, Okii. He comes from upstate New York near the Adirondacks. At 8 weeks old he's already 20 lbs. and stands 15″ tall. Take a look at their photo album. Good boy!!
Kekekeke, you n00bs.
If you make the web site, they will come. It's pretty much what it sounds like. You place silly things atop your cat and take a picture of said cross cat. Submit it and you're an instant internet star. Pictured left, bling cat.
Plan59.com has a schweet collection of good condition print advertisements from the 1950's. One gallery in particular is called “Demonic Tots and Deeply Disturbing Cuisine.” Pictured left, bread is fresher in Cellophane. I'm not sure that I've been been quite that excitted over a slice of bread and jam, but what ever floats your boat.
Step aside crop circles.
